晷線 Sundial 不需要帳號，沒有廣告或跨 App 追蹤，也沒有分析 SDK 或由晷線經營的 AI 代理伺服器。
留在裝置上的資料
已存城市、偏好設定、天氣快取與本機會議資料保留在裝置上。小工具透過 App Group 讀取所需資料；配對的 Apple Watch 可透過 Apple 的裝置框架取得城市、設定與天氣快取。裝置備份依你的 Apple 設定處理。
天氣
App 使用所選城市的座標直接向 Apple Weather 請求當下天氣及預報。晷線不接收這些請求，也不另存你的使用紀錄。Apple 將依其服務與隱私政策處理請求。
行事曆與提醒
讀取行事曆由你自行選擇並授權，可隨時關閉。會議草稿只有在 Apple 行事曆編輯器確認後才儲存至你選定的行事曆；該行事曆的同步與提醒由 Apple 及你的行事曆服務處理。晷線不將事件傳送至自己的伺服器。
選用的 AI 服務
城市漫步有原創預寫內容，不需要 API 金鑰。選用外部 AI 時，App 直接將所選城市、地標、顯示時間、該城市時區，以及 locale（語言及地區設定）送至你設定的供應商或自訂端點。API 金鑰儲存在裝置鑰匙圈，僅用於直連供應商的身分驗證，不傳送給晷線。供應商可將請求與用量連結至你的供應商帳號，並依其政策保留請求、回應、安全及計費紀錄；啟用前請閱讀所選服務的條款。供應商費用由你與供應商自行結算。支援裝置上的 Apple Intelligence 依 Apple 的系統能力運作。
購買、分享與支援
購買、恢復及退款由 App Store 處理；晷線讀取 Apple 提供的購買權益，不取得付款卡資料。分享圖片包含你選定的城市及顯示時間，只有在你選擇儲存或分享時才輸出。若你主動來信，支援信箱會收到你提供的內容，僅用於處理該支援請求。
管理與刪除
你可以在 App 移除城市、清除已存的 AI 金鑰，並在系統設定撤回行事曆權限。刪除 App 會移除其本機容器資料，另受 Apple 備份機制影響；鑰匙圈項目可能繼續保留，請先在 App 中移除 API 金鑰。已儲存的行事曆事件、已分享圖片及供應商保留的資料須在相應服務管理。

On your devices
Saved cities, preferences, weather caches and local meeting data remain on your devices. Widgets use an App Group. Apple's paired-device frameworks may send saved cities, settings and cached weather to your Apple Watch. Device backups follow your Apple settings.
Weather
Sundial requests weather directly from Apple using the coordinates of the selected public city, not your device's GPS location. Apple processes these requests under its own service and privacy terms. Sundial does not receive or log those requests.
Calendars and reminders
Calendar reading is optional and requires your permission. A meeting is saved to the calendar you choose only after you confirm in Apple's event editor. Apple and your calendar provider handle synchronization and notifications. No event is sent to a Sundial server.
Optional AI
Original prewritten City Stroll scenes work without a key. If you choose external AI, Sundial sends the selected city, landmark, displayed time, the selected city’s time zone and locale (language and region settings) directly to your configured HTTPS provider. The key is stored in this device's Keychain and used to authenticate directly with that provider, never with Sundial. The provider can associate the request and usage with your provider account and may retain request, response, security and billing records according to its policies and your account settings. Review its terms before enabling it. Charges are settled directly with the provider. Supported devices can instead use Apple's on-device intelligence.
Purchases, sharing and support
The App Store handles purchases, restoration and refunds. Sundial reads purchase entitlements and does not receive card details. Shared images contain the chosen city and displayed time, and are exported only when you choose to save or share. If you email support, we receive the content you provide and use it to handle that request.
Control and deletion
Remove cities and saved API keys in the app, and revoke calendar permissions in system settings. Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to Apple's backup behavior. Keychain items can survive deletion, so remove keys in the app first. Calendar events, exported images and provider-held records must be managed in those services.
